I love the soft pastels of this Tiffany lamp inspired wedding cake, so beautiful! So I went with a soft, vintage pastel palette for this board. The escort cards in this board are simple but pretty, I love how all the different vintage scrolls look together.

Real Wedding: Kelly & JP's Coral and Spring Green Wedding
Jonathon Campbell Photography shared this very sweet wedding with me recently. Sadly, JP was paralyzed in a terrible motorcycle accident. But the couples love continued to grow even more after that and now I have their amazing wedding to share with you today!

Strawberries and Mangoes and Avocados ...... (oh my!)
Here's exactly how I know it is officially Spring.
Strawberries, mangoes and avocados all go on sale at exactly the same time. Crazy, right?
The obvious signs of Spring can be sprouting all around me, but it is not officially Spring until this happens. Daylight savings, the obnoxious coat of yellow pollen, the ten foot black snake that appears on my walking trail, the frantic spring cleaning. All great indicators, but they do not have the final say.
I know when it happens because every year I get excited that my favorites are all on sale and I buy too much. And every year, without any sort of master plan, the first thing I always make is my special fruit salsa.
I am going to share it with you today, because I like you and I think you might like it. It is about as non-recipe as you can get. More a lesson in superior chopping skills.
If there's any flaw here, it is in the fresh herbs. Inevitably, by this time each year, I have procrastinated on planting my herb garden pots and have to give in to buying the ridiculously overpriced herbs in the plastic packaging with the dirt and roots. I like to think there's some sort of wash rule in effect where the reduced price of the fruits cancels out the exhorbitant amount of money I spend on basil and cilantro.
What's with those packaged herbs anyway? Is one suppose to plant these or just lop off the leaves? (serious question.)
Strawberry, Mango and Avocado Fruit Salsa
Ingredients
5 - 10 strawberries, diced
1 mango, diced
1 avocado, diced
1/2 small red onion, diced
1 handful of fresh basil, chopped
1 handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
red wine vinegar
salt and pepper
Preparation
Add everything to a medium sized bowl and mix. Add several generous splashes of red wine vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.
Super easy and very fresh. Everything good about spring in a colorful little fruit salsa. If I don't end up eating it all with spoon, I like to serve it with grilled chicken.
What is your official sign of spring?
Inspiration 216: Outdoor Coral, Aqua and Yellow Wedding
This is my favorite color palette so I was so excited to get this request the other day! The bride who requested this board wants to work with an aqua, coral and yellow color palette for her outdoor wedding that she wants to keep fun and casual. She wants the flowers to really be bright and vibrant and the other decor to be more subdued, and a lot of candlelight for the outdoor reception.

Inspiration 212: Gray & Coral
This board was inspired by the pretty cake featured in it! Coral has kind of stolen my heart, and for this board I paired it with soft gray. I just can't resist saying how beautiful this color palette truly is!
Inspiration Shoot: Spring Countryside
I have another beautiful inspiration shoot to share with you today, photographed by Katie Schoepflin. I especially love the bouquet and the bride's hair accessories! The peach, spring green and coral color palette is really lovely as well.

Inspiration 209: Cheery Cherry
I feel like I have been doing a ton of blue, pink and aqua boards so I wanted to do a bright red summery board to mix things up. For this board I paired cherry red and gray with touches of white. I like the idea of everyone being in gray with just red accessories.... that would be really pretty and unique!
Real Wedding: Amy & Jordan's Colorful October Wedding
Today I have a lovely wedding to share with you from Jason + Gina Photography. The bride incorporated pale yellow bridesmaid's dresses with bright and colorful bouquets. I love the groom's unique boutonniere too! I think this wedding is an excellent example to draw inspiration from if you want something different then the usual fall color scheme.

Inspiration 204: Spring Blush
Another board inspired by a bouquet! I am seriously so madly in love with the bouquet featured in this board. From the bouquet I pulled the blush, light sage and gray color palette. I can see this board come to life as a simple, classic spring wedding.

Inspiration 202: Spunky Cobalt and Coral
I am really liking bright colors and the way they make softer colors pop. Cobalt blue is a great shade that can work for any season depending what you pair it with. For this board I added coral, this palette would work for spring, summer and early fall.
